The currrently provided information services consist initially only of the online databases and the Quality Controlled Subject Gateway "Fachinformationsführer Sport" of the Federal Institute of Sport Science. Cooperation with further partner organisations in the field of sport science may pursue and result in extended information services and interrogation functionalities.

SPOLIT is a bibliographic database with abstracts covering relevant literature of the sport sciences, predominately being published in German-speaking Countries and in the United Kingdom.

The database SPOFOR covers descriptions of research projects with relevance to sport sciences in German-speaking countries.

The database SPOMEDIA provides German-speaking, audio-visual media of competitive sports.

The interrogation of all three databases is at the time free of charge.
